Vollie Barnwell

As a student of Mars Hill College in 1995, Vollie realized that although he knew Jesus Christ as his Savior there were still aspects of his life that he didn't want to turn over to his Lord. Spiritual battles waged in his life for the next several years as Vollie questioned what he believed and why he believed it. The struggles that Vollie faced during the transition years of 18-25 are the same ones that many young adults face today.

After graduating from Mars Hill College in 1998, Vollie worked at North Greenville University, Mars Hill, and is currently serving as Director of Housing Operations at UNC Asheville.

In 2003, Vollie felt God telling him that despite the work he was doing in the lives of college students at UNCA, God desired him to be more involved in the spiritual aspects of their lives

Vollie has a passion for helping individuals develop and grow their relationship with Christ on a personal and daily level. It is essential that this generation of yound adults know what they believe and why they believe it.

Vollie and his wife Brandy have two children, Dyllan and Eden, a cat, Oreo, and they live in Weaverville.
